Reddit Community Manager Needed

We are looking for an experienced Reddit Community Manager to help manage Reddit engagement for our brand.

The role

involves finding relevant Reddit discussions, understanding the context of each conversation, and posting helpful, natural, and relevant comments that contribute genuine value to the discussion. This is not a spam-commenting or mass-posting job. We want someone who understands Reddit communities, subreddit rules, Reddit etiquette, and how to build credibility through authentic participation.

Responsibilities

Research and identify relevant Reddit posts and discussions related to our target topics. Write thoughtful, useful, and natural comments that genuinely contribute to conversations. Participate only in relevant subreddits and follow each community's rules. Avoid promotional or overly sales-focused comments. Manage and maintain Reddit account activity. Keep track of comments/posts submitted and provide regular reporting. Identify opportunities where our brand/content can be mentioned naturally when relevant. Monitor responses and engage with users when appropriate. Maintain a professional and consistent Reddit presence.

Requirements

Previous experience with Reddit community management or Reddit marketing. Good understanding of Reddit culture, subreddit rules, and community guidelines. Strong English writing skills. Ability to write comments that sound natural and human. Experience with SEO/content marketing is a plus. Ability to research topics and understand conversations before commenting. Must be comfortable working with spreadsheets/reporting. Must not use bots, automated commenting tools, or spam techniques. What We Expect We are looking for quality over quantity. Each comment should: Be relevant to the discussion. Provide useful information or a genuine perspective. Match the tone of the subreddit. Avoid unnecessary promotion. Follow Reddit's rules and the individual subreddit's rules. Be written specifically for the conversation rather than copied/pasted. Reporting The freelancer should provide a simple weekly report containing: Subreddit Post URL Comment URL Comment/topic summary Date posted Engagement/replies Notes or observations To Apply Please include: Your previous Reddit community management experience.
