Dynamic Embedded Power BI Dashboards

Description: We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer to design and develop dynamic, interactive dashboards and embedded analytics for a business application. The project involves building professional Power BI dashboards that can be embedded into a web-based platform and provide users with real-time or near-real-time business insights. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports • Build efficient data models using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX • Connect Power BI with multiple data sources, APIs, databases, and business applications • Implement dynamic filters, drill-downs, KPIs, charts, and custom visualizations • Develop role-based and user-specific dashboard views • Configure Power BI Embedded for integration with a web application • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) where required • Optimize report performance, data models, and DAX queries • Configure scheduled and incremental data refresh • Troubleshoot data, refresh, visualization, and connectivity issues • Support API-based data integration and automated data pipelines • Ensure dashboards are responsive, user-friendly, and scalable • Provide recommendations for Power BI architecture and best practices Requirements: • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI • Excellent knowledge of DAX and Power Query • Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases • Experience with Power BI Embedded • Experience implementing Row-Level Security • Experience integrating Power BI with web applications and APIs • Knowledge of SQL and data transformation • Experience optimizing Power BI reports and models • Understanding of authentication, permissions, and secure embedded analytics • Good communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: • Experience with Azure • Experience with Power BI REST APIs • Experience with Python • Experience with Microsoft Fabric • Experience with React, Next.js, or other frontend frameworks • Experience building SaaS dashboards or multi-tenant analytics platforms Deliverables: • Production-ready Power BI dashboards • Optimized data models and DAX measures • Power BI Embedded integration • User/role-based access and security • Data refresh and integration setup • Documentation and knowledge transfer This can become a long-term engagement for the right developer, with additional dashboards, integrations, and analytics requirements planned after the initial implementation.
