Inventory Workflow Optimization Project

I’m looking to overhaul the way our inventory moves from receiving through order fulfillment so that stock counts stay accurate, tasks flow smoothly, and my team feels less pressure during peak hours. The core challenge is Inventory Control, but the lever I want to pull is Workflow Optimization—specifically to • boost overall efficiency, • cut out avoidable errors, and • raise day-to-day employee satisfaction. You’ll start by mapping the existing steps in our warehouse management system, isolating bottlenecks, and benchmarking current pick-pack-ship times and variance rates. From there I need clear, data-backed recommendations: layout tweaks, barcode or RFID enhancements, or SOP revisions—whatever delivers measurable gains. Once we agree on the roadmap, a concise implementation plan with KPIs, training pointers, and a quick reference guide will round out the deliverables. I work primarily with NetSuite and Excel for reporting, so please be comfortable extracting and analysing data from those platforms.
