I need a small team already based in Japan to carry out on-site agricultural investigations across several prefectures this growing season. Your role will span three main areas: detailed soil analysis, in-field crop assessment, and localized pest management observations. You must be comfortable working hands-on in active fields while integrating data from GPS mapping tools, drones for low-altitude aerial surveys, and portable soil-testing kits. Data capture is expected in three parallel formats: concise manual field notes for contextual observations, structured digital data logs (tablet or smartphone is fine) for metrics, and periodic remote-sensing imagery collected via your drone flights. Consistency across these channels is essential so I can compare regions side-by-side. Deliverables • A weekly geo-tagged report for each site summarizing soil nutrient profiles, crop health indicators, and pest pressure. • Raw datasets exported in CSV (digital logs) plus annotated field notebooks scanned to PDF. • Aerial imagery stitched and compressed to <200 MB per field, delivered in GeoTIFF. • End-of-season synthesis document highlighting key trends and recommendations. Acceptance criteria 1. All GPS coordinates must match the shapefiles I will provide before deployment. 2. Laboratory-validated soil test results must fall within ±5 % of on-site kit readings. 3. Drone imagery must achieve a ground sampling distance of ≤5 cm/pixel. Timeline and acreage details will be shared after NDA signature, but expect 6–8 field days per month until harvest. If your background aligns and you have your own gear, let me know your nearest prefecture and earliest availability.
