iOS Safari Virtual Camera Tweak

I’m running an iPhone 13 on iOS 16.5.1 with the rootless Dopamine jailbreak and I need a custom tweak that makes Safari believe it is receiving a live camera feed while, in reality, it is streaming a pre-recorded video. Existing “virtual camera” solutions fail with Safari/WebRTC, so this must be built specifically for that environment. Primary goal • Whenever a website opened in Safari asks for camera permission, it should receive a continuous MP4 video I have stored on-device—not the physical rear or front camera feed. There is no need for overlays or live-feed switching; the real camera should be completely bypassed. Configuration • I’d like to point the tweak to the video of my selection in the camera roll or via a static file path (e.g., through a .plist, user defaults, or a simple settings bundle). • MP4 is the only format that must be supported. Technical notes You’ll be working on a rootless device, so familiarity with Dopamine’s filesystem layout, sandboxing quirks, and signed/sealed binaries is essential. Hooking into AVFoundation, replacing CMSampleBuffers cleanly, and keeping WebRTC happy in Safari are the key challenges. If you can leverage existing open-source components (e.g., tweak libraries, theos, Substitute, libwebrtc hooks) to accelerate development, that’s fine—just document what you use.
