Über den Job

I need on-site assistance in Hong Kong to measure and document the real-world speed of our wireless network. The job is strictly performance oriented—I am not looking for security or basic connectivity checks. What matters most is an accurate picture of current network speed so we can benchmark upgrades now underway. Scope of work • Visit the designated office floors and selected public areas that already have access points installed. • Run repeatable speed tests (e.g., iPerf, Speedtest CLI, or equivalent) on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, capturing downstream and upstream throughput. • Record signal strength, client device specs, test time, and environmental notes for each location so results are reproducible. • Summarise findings in a short report that highlights average, peak, and lowest speeds, any obvious bottlenecks, and quick-hit improvement suggestions. Deliverable A zipped folder containing the raw test logs, screenshots or CSV exports where applicable, plus a concise PDF summary (max 3 pages) with charts and observations. Acceptance criteria • Measurements taken from every spot listed in the floor plan I will share. • Minimum three test runs per spot to rule out transient spikes. • All data time-stamped and labelled clearly. • Recommendations grounded in the captured metrics. Testing can be completed in half a day if you have the right tools and experience; please confirm your availability and the equipment you will bring.
