Structural & Electrical CAD Drawing – Substation, HT/LT Panel Room & Metering Room at Raw Water Intake

Job Title: Structural & Electrical Draftsman / Detailer – Substation, HT/LT Panel Room & Metering Room at Raw Water Intake Job Description:We are seeking an experienced civil/structural and electrical draftsman to prepare detailed design drawings, section details, and drafting packages for an Intake Well Metering Room, HT/LT Panel Room, and Outdoor Transformer Yard for a municipal surface water supply project. Project Scope & Tasks:Prepare complete architectural and structural General Arrangement (GA) drawings, column/beam schedules, and reinforcement details based on preliminary layouts. Develop floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, and roof levels for the Metering and HT Panel rooms. Detail electrical cable trenches, blockouts, invert levels, wall inserts, and cover plate arrangements integrated with RCC plinth beams ($230 \times 500\text{ mm}$) and foundation slabs. Design transformer plinth pads, oil soak pit/drainage details, and earthing pit layouts for two outdoor transformer bays. Coordinate openings (doors, rolling shutters, ventilation louvers) with electrical equipment clearances and relevant Indian Standards (IS/CEA).Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for RCC structural elements. Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent structural drafting software. Prior experience with substation buildings, pump house electrical rooms, or industrial utility structures. Familiarity with Indian Standard (IS) codes for RCC design (IS 456, SP 34) and substation layout clearances.Ability to deliver clean, standard-compliant CAD drawing sheets (.dwg and .pdf). Deliverables:Final AutoCAD drawing files (.dwg) with standard layers and title blocks. High-resolution PDF drawing set for site execution and client approval.Quantity takeoff / BBS spreadsheet (Excel).
