About the job

I need an experienced federal-court practitioner to take my employment-based civil action from draft to docket. The case combines employment discrimination, personal injury, negligence, fraud, and denial of public accommodation, so every filing must track both the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the local rules of the U.S. District Court where it will be lodged. Scope of work • Prepare all pleadings (complaint, amended complaints if needed, answers, counterclaims). • Draft accompanying motions—Rule 12, Rule 56, discovery-related, and any procedural or scheduling motions that arise. • Create full discovery packets: interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and deposition notices. • Convert each document to text-searchable PDF, add proper caption, signature block, certificate of service, and ensure page limits and font rules are met. • File every item through the CM/ECF system under the correct event codes and provide me with the resulting docket numbers and stamped copies. Acceptance criteria 1. Every document cites the governing rule or statute and is free of typographical errors. 2. Formatting complies with the court’s standing order on margins, font size, and word limits. 3. CM/ECF receipts and notices of electronic filing are returned to me within 24 hours of docketing. 4. All deadlines I provide are met or earlier. Access to my CM/ECF credentials will be arranged through a secure channel, and I will stay available for any factual clarifications you need. If you are fluent with PACER, CM/ECF, and federal civil-procedure strategy, I’m ready to move forward immediately.
