About the job

I need complete CAD / CAM support for a mechanical part that will be machined on a CNC. Everything must be created in AutoCAD, from the first sketch through to the tool-ready code, so please be fully comfortable modelling and generating paths inside that environment or with add-ons that integrate seamlessly with it. The geometry is straightforward—mostly prismatic features—but accuracy is critical because the part mates with an existing assembly. I will share the dimensional hand-sketch and a brief tolerance table once we start. Standard inch units apply. Deliverables • Fully detailed 2D drawings (DWG) with dimensions, tolerances, and call-outs • Clean 3D model (DWG or STEP) reflecting the final dimensions • Verified G-code ready for my CNC mill (Fanuc post preferred) Acceptance criteria: the model must pass an interference check against a reference STEP I’ll supply; drawings must show every machined face and critical datum; G-code must simulate without collisions in Fusion 360 or similar and stay within the machine’s travel limits. Let me know your turnaround time and any clarifications you need so we can move quickly.
