Horror Short Film Poster Design

I need a striking one–sheet for my upcoming horror short. The artwork must immediately telegraph horror, but instead of outright gore I want viewers to feel a mounting suspense the moment they see it. Two visual anchors have to dominate the layout: the face of the main character and a freeze-frame from a pivotal, tension-filled scene. If you feel a small symbolic hint can be woven in without overcrowding the composition, I’m open to your creative judgment, but the priority remains the character and the scene. Dark, moody colour grades, dramatic lighting, and clever negative space are welcome techniques. The title treatment should be readable at thumbnail size yet merge naturally with the imagery. Please deliver: • Print-ready CMYK PDF (A3 and US one-sheet) • Layered PSD or AI file so I can tweak credits later • Web versions optimised for social media (Instagram portrait & story, X header) All assets used must be either original or properly licensed. Let me know early if you need specific stills or character shots; I can supply 4K frames. The poster should be ready for final approval within one week once we lock the concept.
