About the job

Neo-Hookean is suitable as a starting hyperelastic material model for snap-through structure, especially if we are using a TPU/rubber-like material and the strain level is not extremely high. start with Neo-Hookean for the baseline ANSYS model because it is simple, stable, and easy to calibrate. Then, if my experimental TPU data shows large nonlinear deformation that Neo-Hookean cannot match well, compare it with Mooney–Rivlin or Ogden. For snap-through analysis, the important point is that the material model must handle large strain + large deformation. Neo-Hookean does this much better than a simple linear elastic model. but “A Neo-Hookean hyperelastic material model was initially selected to represent the nonlinear elastic behaviour of the TPU structure under large deformation. The model provides a simple and computationally efficient description suitable for preliminary snap-through analysis. More advanced hyperelastic models, such as Mooney–Rivlin or Ogden, may be considered if greater agreement with experimental material behaviour is required.” One important limitation: Neo-Hookean alone will not realistically model hysteresis/true energy dissipation. It mainly gives recoverable elastic behaviour. If our final goal is specifically energy dissipation, we eventually need experimental hysteresis data and possibly a visco-hyperelastic or similar dissipative model. For first proving snap-through, though, Neo-Hookean is a very reasonable choice. so lets discuss little bit in your free time brother, i am also not expert in this field,TPU95A material is usedAs per our last discussion below task has to be performed: With Material TPU95A 1) with 1.5mm thickness 2) 2mm thickness 3) 2.5mm thickness 4) 3mm thickness 5) 3.5mm thickness 6) 4mm thickness Total 6 iteration high nonlinearity (hyperelastic) desin already done just need ANSYS part simulation
