I’m looking to add full-fledged push notifications to my existing Flutter iOS app using Firebase Cloud Messaging and APNs. Firebase is only partially configured at the moment, so you’ll need to review what’s there, finish the setup, and link everything to my Apple Developer account. What I expect: • Finish the Firebase side: enable Cloud Messaging, upload the APNs authentication key or certificates, and make sure the bundle ID and provisioning profiles line up. • Configure the iOS project in Xcode for APNs, register for notification permissions, and obtain a reliable device token every launch. • Implement foreground, background, and terminated-state handling so alerts arrive and display correctly no matter what the user is doing. • Parse the notification payload and, when a user taps on it, deep-link straight to the Messages screen (other screens may come later, but Messages is the first target). • Provide clean, well-commented Dart/Swift/Obj-C glue code plus any necessary updates to Info.plist, Podfile, and firebase_messaging initialisation. • Test on at least one physical device running the latest iOS version and supply a short walkthrough or screencast that proves delivery and navigation work. Acceptance will be based on: – Successful receipt of push notifications in all app states. – Tap-through correctly opening the Messages screen and delivering the payload data to that screen. – No crashes or permission issues on a fresh install. If you’re fluent with Flutter, Firebase Cloud Messaging, APNs, and Xcode signing quirks, this should be straightforward. I’m ready to add you to my Firebase project and Apple Developer team as soon as we agree on the timeline.
