Assignment 2: Design an Interactive and Responsive Feature Objective Create a small interactive feature of a digital product from concept to prototype, showing your understanding of interaction design, visual design, and responsive layouts. Instructions 1. Choose a Simple Feature Common to Digital Products Pick one simple feature that users often interact with in a digital product. Examples: a login screen, calculator app, search bar, product card, form, settings page with on/off switches, or expandable menu layout. 2. Plan the User Flow Sketch or outline the steps a user takes to complete a task (for example: Open app → Enter details → Submit → Get results). 3. Create Wireframes and Prototype a. Build simple wireframes in Figma (or another design tool). b. Add basic interactivity — link buttons or screens together to show how the feature works. 4. Add Visual Design Choose and apply colors, typography, and layout that make your design clear and visually consistent. 5. Create Responsive Versions a. Design your feature for three screen sizes: mobile, tablet, and desktop. b. Keep the same design style but adjust layout and spacing to fit each size. Deliverable Submit: • A Figma link (or exported PDF and a screen recording) showing your interactive prototype. • A short note (3–5 sentences) describing what you designed and how it supports a smooth user experience.
