About the job

The factory exhaust is already off my 1990 Nissan 300ZX and the new direct-fit catalytic converter is sitting here ready to go. I’m after a mobile mechanic who can come to my driveway, position the cat, line everything up cleanly with the existing pipes, and secure it so the car can pass a safety certificate inspection. What I have on hand • Direct-fit catalytic converter What I still need you to supply and fit • Brackets • Hangers • Correct-grade bolts and screws Job expectations 1. Align and bolt the converter without leaks or rattles. 2. Fabricate or source any missing brackets/hangers on the spot. 3. Torque everything to spec for this chassis. 4. Quick visual check that the install meets Ontario safety standards. You’ll be working in a standard sloped driveway with plenty of room for a jack and stands. Bring your preferred tools, a welder if you like to tack hangers, and anything else you need to get the exhaust buttoned up in one visit. If you’ve installed cats on Z32s—or other tight-clearance sports cars—let me know; experience matters here. Looking forward to getting this car road-legal again. Please respond or text 226-507-3938
