About the job

I have shot a short-form documentary about cars and now need a skilled English-language editor to turn the footage into a polished film of under 30 minutes. I’m looking for someone who can handle the entire post-production workflow: cleaning up the story through precise cutting, weaving in tasteful transitions and subtle effects where they enhance the narrative, and finishing with balanced colour correction that keeps the visuals natural but vivid. You will work from my raw footage and a loose paper edit. I’ll supply graphics, lower-third templates, and any music or archival clips that must be integrated. You simply bring everything together so the pacing feels dynamic, the audio is clear, and the finished piece is export-ready for festival submission and online release. Deliverables • A locked picture edit (HD or 4K) • Final colour-corrected master plus high-quality H.264 and ProRes versions • Project files and an organised timeline so any future tweaks are straightforward Once we agree on an outline, I’ll share the media via a secure cloud link. I’m eager to review rough cuts, provide time-coded notes, and keep momentum steady, so good communication is important. If you love documentaries, know your way around Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and can meet a mutually set deadline, let’s collaborate.
