About the job

I need a complete CAD + CAM package prepared in SolidWorks for a part that will be CNC milled out of steel. The job covers the full workflow: • Create a clean, fully-parametric 3D model that matches my sketches and key dimensions. • Generate accurate 2D drawings with tolerances and call-outs ready for the shop floor. • Produce CAM setup, toolpaths, and optimized G-code for milling—adaptive roughing, finishing, and any drilling or chamfer passes required. • Supply a brief setup sheet noting tools, feeds, speeds, and work-holding recommendations for steel. The design must respect standard machining best practices for steel, avoid unnecessary tool changes, and keep cycle times reasonable. Native SolidWorks files, STEP/IGES interchange formats, PDFs of drawings, and the final NC code should be included in the hand-off. I’m available to clarify geometry, critical surfaces, or tolerance stack-ups as you progress. Let’s create a manufacturable model that runs smoothly on the mill.
