About the job

I’ve wrapped up development on a story-driven action-adventure title for PC and now need every line of in-game text moved from English into idiomatic, genre-appropriate Italian. The current script sits in a single UTF-8 .csv file that contains dialogue, item descriptions, menu strings, and a handful of system messages. Placeholders such as {playerName} and line-feed tags must remain untouched, and line length has to stay close to the source so on-screen text doesn’t break. What matters most is a natural Italian voice that matches the fast-paced, cinematic tone of the game while preserving key terminology and lore consistency across roughly 25K words. You’re welcome to work in tools like memoQ, Trados, or even Google Sheets—whatever helps you keep context and maintain a clean string ID structure—as long as the final delivery returns to the original .csv format. Deliverables • Fully translated .csv file with all in-game strings in Italian, placeholders intact • A short terminology sheet (glossary) for recurring names and phrases • One revision round after integration if my QA team spots context issues or typos The build is already content-locked, so I’d love to have a first pass within 10-12 days and the polished version shortly after feedback. Let me know your experience with PC titles and, if possible, share a sample from a previous localization project so I can gauge style fit.
