About the job

I need a fresh set of expert eyes on www.lokaltala.com before we open the doors to the public. Your primary goal is thorough usability testing—no performance or deep functional drills this round—just a clear-headed assessment of how real visitors will experience the site. Please move through every common user journey, paying close attention to: • Navigation flow – can users reach key pages in the fewest, most intuitive clicks? • Content readability – is the copy clear, well-structured and easy on the eyes across devices? • User interface design – do buttons, forms and interactive elements feel consistent, modern and error-free? Document every friction point, unexpected behaviour or broken element, then step in and fix them. I expect visible improvements pushed to the live code or staging branch (tell me which you prefer) and a brief after-action report summarising what you changed and why. Once those updates are in place, run a quick validation pass to confirm we are genuinely launch-ready. When you respond, include a concise yet detailed project proposal describing: • Your preferred testing workflow and tools (e.g. Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, heat-mapping, user session replays). • How you will prioritise and implement fixes. • The timeline you need to reach a final “ready for launch” sign-off. If previous projects show comparable usability audits and front-end fixes, feel free to mention them, but the proposal itself is what I will weigh most heavily.
