I have an existing site that was originally assembled with the help of Claude, and while it functions, it no longer meets my standards for reliability, security, or professional appearance. I’d like an experienced web developer / designer to take the current build, tighten up its back-end, and present a polished front-end that instills confidence in visitors. Scope of work • Reliability: Analyse the current codebase and hosting setup, then resolve anything that could slow pages down, cause intermittent downtime, or throw avoidable errors. • Security: I need best-practice hardening throughout—think SSL/TLS implementation, firewall configuration, and any additional measures you feel are necessary after a quick audit. • Design refresh: Update the layout, navigation, colour palette, and typography so the site looks clean and modern on all devices. Subtle animation or micro-interactions are welcome if they enhance user experience without sacrificing speed. Deliverables 1. Optimised source files and assets ready for deployment. 2. Documented list of security improvements applied, with simple instructions I can follow to maintain them. 3. Pixel-perfect responsive design (Figma mock-up or equivalent) plus the implemented HTML/CSS/JS templates. 4. Brief performance report comparing key metrics (before vs. after).
