Remote Operations Assistant for Vehicle-Rental Business

I need a reliable remote operations assistant to help a small vehicle-rental business with staffing coordination and insurance-claim administration. The freelancer must speak fluent, easily understood English and be comfortable making professional phone calls to insurance companies, repair facilities, vendors, job candidates, and other US telephone numbers. They must also be confident using digital tools, navigating unfamiliar websites, uploading documents, completing online forms, updating spreadsheets, and keeping accurate records. Insurance-related work may include opening claims, checking claim status, obtaining documents and estimates, following up with adjusters and repair facilities, recording claim numbers and contact information, and escalating issues to me when a business decision is required. This is administrative support—not licensed insurance adjusting or legal work. Staffing-related work may include posting openings, reviewing applicants, contacting candidates, scheduling interviews, confirming appointments or shifts, and maintaining applicant and employee records. Key requirements: * Fluent spoken and written English * Confident making outbound calls to US numbers * Comfortable speaking with insurance adjusters and other business professionals * Strong computer and internet skills * Able to learn new websites and software quickly * Organized and persistent with follow-ups * Careful handling confidential customer, employee, and insurance information * Reliable internet connection and a quiet environment for calls * Availability during at least part of the US Central Time business day Experience with insurance claims, vehicle rentals, automotive repair, recruiting, administrative assistance, or fleet operations is helpful but not required.
