Project Title: Build a Professional Shopify Website for Used Tesla Model 3 & Model Y OEM Parts Business I am looking for an experienced Shopify / eCommerce web developer to design and build a professional, modern, mobile-friendly website for a Canadian used OEM EV parts business specializing mainly in Tesla Model 3 and Model Y parts. The website will sell used OEM automotive parts sourced from documented donor vehicles. The main focus is to make it very easy for customers, body shops, mechanics, and EV repair facilities to find the correct part based on vehicle information, OEM part number, donor vehicle, or internal SKU. The website should look modern, professional, technical, clean, and trustworthy. It should NOT look like a traditional junkyard website. MAIN WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS 1. Shopify eCommerce Setup The website should preferably be developed using Shopify. Required: * Shopify store setup * Product catalogue * Shopping cart * Secure checkout * Canadian payments * HST/tax setup capability * Shipping configuration * Local pickup option * Customer accounts * Order management * Inventory tracking * Discount/promotional code capability 2. Vehicle Fitment Search The homepage must include a prominent "Find Your Part" search. Customers should be able to select: Model: * Tesla Model 3 * Tesla Model Y Year: * 2018+ * Years should be expandable as inventory grows Drive / Trim: * RWD * Long Range AWD * Performance Part Category: * Lighting * Body * Mirrors * Wheels/Tires * Suspension * Steering * HVAC * Interior * Electronics * Cameras/Sensors * Charging * Drive Units * High Voltage Battery * Glass * Other The developer should recommend the best Shopify automotive fitment/filtering solution. 3. OEM Part Number Search The website must allow users to search directly using Tesla OEM part numbers. Example: 1493325-00-C Search results should return compatible inventory where that OEM number or related revision is recorded. 4. Detailed Product Pages Each used part listing should contain structured information such as: * Product title * Tesla model * Year * Trim / drivetrain * OEM part number * OEM revision number * LH / RH position * Donor vehicle ID * Donor mileage * Vehicle build date * Condition grade * Tested / not tested * Damage description * Warranty * Stock status * Warehouse location * Actual photos * Price in CAD * Local pickup availability * Canada-wide shipping * Compatibility / fitment notes Each product should support multiple high-resolution photos showing: * Front * Back * Connectors * Mounting points * OEM label * OEM part number * Scratches or damage * Relevant donor vehicle photos 5. Donor Vehicle Pages The website must include individual donor vehicle pages. Example: Donor ID: MY-0021 2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD Mileage: 61,300 km Damage: Rear collision Interior: Black Dismantled Date: August 2026 Each donor page should automatically show all available parts associated with that donor vehicle. Customers should be able to click "View Parts From This Vehicle." 6. Part Request Form If a customer cannot find a part, they should be able to submit a request. Fields should include: * Name * Email * Phone * Vehicle model * Year * VIN * Trim * Part needed * LH / RH * OEM part number * Description * Photo upload The request should be emailed to the business and ideally saved for future inventory/demand tracking. 7. "Sell Your Damaged Tesla" Form The website should allow people to submit damaged vehicles that the business may purchase for dismantling. Condition Grading System Products should support a clear grading system: Grade A: Excellent used condition with little or no visible cosmetic damage. Grade B: Fully functional with normal cosmetic wear. Grade C: Functional but noticeable cosmetic damage. Repairable: Requires repair before installation. The condition grade should be prominently displayed on product pages and product cards. 10. SKU / Inventory System Every donor vehicle should receive a unique donor ID. Examples: M3-0001 M3-0002 MY-0001 MY-0002 Each removed part should have its own SKU. Example: MY0021-HL-RH-001 Meaning: MY0021 = Donor Vehicle HL = Headlight RH = Right Hand 001 = Inventory Sequence The developer should configure Shopify products/inventory so this SKU system can be easily maintained. 11. Warehouse Location Tracking Each product should contain an internal warehouse storage location. Example: Rack A Shelf 04 Bin 08 Warehouse location should preferably be visible in the admin/inventory system and optionally hidden from customers. 12. Compatibility / Fitment Disclaimer The website must clearly state that customers should confirm: * OEM part number * Revision * Vehicle configuration * VIN where necessary Customers should be encouraged to contact us with their VIN for fitment verification. 13. Modern Professional Design The website should have a modern EV/technology appearance.
