# Mobile Cybersecurity & Facebook OSINT Investigation I’m looking for an experienced **Mobile Cybersecurity / Digital Forensics and OSINT Specialist** to conduct two related defensive investigations involving my own device, accounts, and publicly available online information. The project has two main parts: ## 1. WhatsApp & Mobile Device Security Assessment I want my phone and WhatsApp account checked for possible: * Spyware or stalkerware * Malware * Unauthorized account or device access * Suspicious applications * Unknown WhatsApp linked devices or sessions * Malicious configuration profiles * Suspicious permissions or device-management settings * Compromised Apple ID / Google Account settings * Suspicious VPN, DNS, proxy, or certificate configurations * Unusual background or network activity * WhatsApp backup and account-security issues The goal is to determine whether there are signs of unauthorized access or monitoring and provide clear recommendations for securing the device and accounts. ## 2. Facebook & Online Exposure OSINT Investigation I also want to understand how my name or related content became widely circulated on Facebook and potentially other public platforms. The investigation should use **lawful, publicly accessible information only**. I would like the specialist to investigate: * Public Facebook posts, pages, profiles, groups, and comments mentioning my name * Earliest publicly discoverable mentions * Approximate timeline of how the content spread * Major reposts or amplification points * Duplicate or copied posts * Public accounts or pages significantly involved in circulation * Screenshots, videos, or reposted material connected to the spread * Other websites or social platforms containing similar information * Search-engine results associated with my name * Public fake or impersonation profiles * Public misinformation or suspicious coordinated posting patterns where supported by evidence The goal is to create a clear **source-and-timeline map** showing where the public exposure appears to have started and how it spread. ## Expected Deliverables ### Mobile / WhatsApp Security Report Please provide: * Items and settings checked * Tools and methods used * Suspicious findings * Risk level of each finding * Supporting evidence where available * Recommended remediation * Security settings that should be changed * Apps or configurations that should be removed if necessary * Limitations of the investigation ### Facebook / OSINT Investigation Report Please provide: * Chronological timeline of publicly discoverable mentions * Earliest public source identified * Important posts, pages, profiles, or groups involved * Public URLs and evidence references * Repost or duplicate-content relationships * Potential public impersonation accounts * Related content found on other platforms * Evidence table * Confidence level for conclusions * Recommendations for reporting, removal requests, account protection, and reputation monitoring A **spreadsheet or CSV** containing URLs, dates, sources, evidence references, and findings would be preferred. ## Evidence Standards Please clearly separate findings into: * **Confirmed evidence** * **Likely connections** * **Possible but unverified connections** Do not make accusations or identify someone as responsible unless there is verifiable evidence supporting that conclusion. ## Privacy & Security Requirements The freelancer must: * Work only with devices and accounts I authorize * Use lawful defensive cybersecurity methods * Use publicly accessible information only for OSINT research * Not hack or attempt to access another person’s accounts or devices * Not bypass Facebook privacy settings * Not use social engineering * Not request passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, or banking credentials * Not install persistent monitoring software * Not root or jailbreak the device without explicit approval * Explain any diagnostic software before installation * Protect all personal information and collected evidence * Remove unnecessary diagnostic copies of personal information after the investigation The OSINT portion must **not involve doxxing, harassment, accessing private profiles without authorization, or attempting to uncover private locations or identities of anonymous individuals**. ## Preferred Skills Experience in any of the following is preferred: * Mobile digital forensics * iOS or Android security * WhatsApp security investigations * Spyware / stalkerware detection * Malware analysis * Incident response * OSINT investigations * Social-media investigations * Facebook research * Digital-footprint investigations * Fake profile / impersonation investigations * Online reputation investigations * Evidence preservation * Timeline reconstruction Relevant cybersecurity or digital-forensics certifications are a plus but are not required. ## When Applying Please briefly answer: 1.
