Social Media Shorts Video Editor (Short-Form Videos) Pay: $300/month Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote Job Overview We’re hiring a video editor to create 35–45 short videos per month. Each video is 15–30 or max 60 seconds, vertical format, and fast-paced. This role is for editors who have real experience with short-form content and can deliver polished, high-quality work. Note: If you only edit on your phone or have never edited for a business or brand, this position won’t be a good fit. Editing Software (Desktop Only) CapCut (desktop version only) DaVinci Resolve Adobe After Effects Other professional desktop editing tools Requirements Must edit on a computer (not a phone) Must deliver high-quality work on time (daily or in batches) Must follow instructions and meet deadlines Must communicate clearly and accept feedback Ideal Candidate Has experience editing YouTube Shorts, TikToks, or Reels Has created videos for a business, brand, or YouTube channel Knows how to hook attention fast Can use smooth cuts, text overlays, music, and sound effects Can add captions and sync edits to music Delivers clean, professional edits consistently Responds well to direction and makes revisions quickly Preferred candiadate: Atlest 10 samples of short-form videos you’ve edited (for a business, brand, or creator) Answer the following: What editing software do you use and why?
