I’m looking for an experienced developer to build a full-scale Automotive Dealer Management System from scratch. The platform has to cover the three pillars of a modern dealership: • Inventory management – VIN-level vehicle records, photos, purchase costs, reconditioning status, floor-plan tracking, and automated stock aging alerts. • Customer relationship management – lead capture, test-drive scheduling, quote generation, follow-up automation, and a single customer timeline that ties interactions to specific vehicles. • Sales tracking – deal desking, F&I product upsells, commission calculations, and real-time dashboards that show pipeline health for the team and each salesperson. I also need seamless integration with: • Payment gateways (think Stripe or similar) for deposits and online reservation fees. • Accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero so every sale posts automatically to the general ledger. • Marketing tools like Mailchimp and Meta Ads for one-click campaign launches from within a customer profile. • Our existing website templates, so inventory and specials publish instantly without duplicate data entry. Core expectations 1. Cloud-based architecture (AWS or comparable) with responsive UI. 2. Role-based access control and audit logs. 3. REST or GraphQL API so future mobile apps can hook in. 4. Source-controlled codebase (Git) and documented setup scripts for staging and production. 5. A concise hand-over package: database schema, API reference, and user guide.
