# Framer Website Specialist Needed for Ad Hoc Ongoing Support We’re looking for an experienced **Framer developer / designer** to provide ongoing, ad hoc support for an existing website built in Framer. The website is already live and functioning. We are **not looking for a full redesign or rebuild** at this stage. Instead, we need someone reliable who can assist as required with updates, improvements, troubleshooting and small development/design tasks. ## Scope of Support Typical tasks may include: * Updating existing pages and sections * Creating new pages or landing pages * Adjusting layouts and responsive behaviour * Fixing mobile / tablet display issues * Updating navigation and footer elements * Improving spacing, typography and visual consistency * Adding or modifying Framer components * Creating reusable components * CMS updates and configuration * Adding forms and integrations * Fixing broken interactions or animations * Improving page transitions and micro-interactions * Adding new sections based on existing design patterns * Updating images, icons and content * Basic SEO configuration * Meta titles and descriptions * Redirects and URL changes * Performance improvements * General Framer troubleshooting * Publishing and deployment support There may also occasionally be slightly larger pieces of work such as creating a new landing page or implementing a new website feature. ## What We’re Looking For We want someone who is very comfortable working inside **existing Framer projects** and can make changes without unnecessarily rebuilding components or disrupting the existing design system. Attention to detail is important. You should be able to look at an existing design and maintain consistency across: * Typography * Spacing * Components * Colours * Responsive behaviour * Interactions * Overall UI quality We would also value someone who can make sensible UX recommendations when they notice something that could be improved. ## Working Arrangement This will be an **ongoing ad hoc engagement** rather than a fixed full-time role. Some weeks may involve several tasks while other periods may require little or no support. Tasks will generally be provided individually with clear requirements and priority. We are open to either: * Hourly engagement, or * Agreed pricing for individual larger tasks We are looking for someone we can work with over the longer term rather than finding a new freelancer for every website update. ## Important We need someone who is comfortable making both **small quick changes and more involved Framer improvements**. Examples could range from: “Update this section and fix the mobile layout” through to: “Create a new landing page following the existing website design system.” We value clean implementation and prefer solutions that are maintainable rather than quick fixes that create problems later. ## Ideal Experience You should have strong experience with: * Framer * Responsive web design * Framer CMS * Components and variants * Breakpoints * Animations and interactions * Landing page design * Basic UX / UI principles * Website performance * SEO fundamentals Experience working with SaaS, technology or startup websites would be a bonus. Knowledge of custom code, JavaScript or third-party integrations within Framer would also be useful, although it is not required for every task. ## When Applying Please include: * 3–5 Framer websites you have worked on * A brief explanation of what you worked on for each * Your hourly rate * Your typical availability * Your timezone * Whether you are comfortable working on an ad hoc basis * Your experience with Framer CMS and custom components * Whether you can assist with both design and implementation Please start your application with **“Framer Support”** so we know you have read the brief.
