About the Project I am looking to develop a professional networking and recruitment platform specifically for football/soccer coaches and football clubs. The concept is similar to LinkedIn, but built specifically for the football coaching industry. Coaches will be able to create professional profiles, upload their coaching CV and qualifications, list their experience and indicate what type of coaching opportunities they are looking for. Football clubs will be able to create club profiles, advertise coaching vacancies and search/filter coaches based on their experience, qualifications, location, level and other requirements. The platform should cater for junior football through to First Grade/NPL and professional football, covering both men’s and women’s football. Coach Registration Coaches should be able to create an account using: * Email * Password * Google/Apple login if practical They create a professional football coaching profile. 2. Coach Profile Profile should include: * Profile photo * Name * Location * Short biography * Coaching philosophy * Current club * Previous clubs * Coaching experience * Years of experience * Age groups coached * Men’s/Women’s football * Preferred coaching roles * Preferred level * Preferred locations * Availability * Relocation preference * Salary/remuneration expectations 3.
Coaches should be able to list: * Football Australia qualifications * AFC qualifications * UEFA qualifications * Other international qualifications * First Aid * Safeguarding * Strength & Conditioning * Other relevant qualifications Coaches should be able to upload supporting documents. 4. Checks & Verification Profile should allow coaches to identify relevant checks such as: * Working With Children Check * Working With Vulnerable People Check * Police Check * First Aid * Other safeguarding requirements The system should display whether documentation is: Pending / Verified / Expired The administrator should have the ability to manually verify documentation. Important: sensitive documents must be securely stored and access must be restricted. 5. Coaching CV Coaches should be able to: * Upload existing CV * Create CV within the platform * Update experience * Download/export their CV as PDF 6. Jobs / Vacancies Clubs should be able to advertise vacancies. Club Profiles Clubs should have their own profiles containing: * Club name * Logo * Location * Website * Men’s/Women’s programs * Competition level * Club description * Coaching vacancies * Contact information 8. Search & Filters Clubs should be able to search coaches using filters such as: * Location * Qualification * Experience * Age group * Men’s/Women’s * Coaching role * Competition level * Availability * Salary expectations * Verified status Coaches should also be able to search available jobs. 9. Applications Coaches should be able to: * Apply for vacancies * Attach CV * Send a message * Track applications Clubs should be able to: * View applicants * Shortlist applicants * Reject applicants * Contact applicants 10. Messaging Basic private messaging between: Club ↔ Coach Messages should not expose personal contact details unless users choose to share them. 11. Reference points: * LinkedIn * SEEK * Football recruitment platforms The interface should be simple enough for a junior coach to use but professional enough for an NPL/A-League organisation. Responsive web design is required. ⸻ TECHNOLOGY I am open to recommendations from the developer. Preference is for a technology stack that allows future development into: * iOS app * Android app * Web platform The system should be scalable. Developer should explain: 1. Recommended technology 2.
