Android Developer Required for app Development & Maintenance About the Project We are developing app, a work and services platform designed to connect people who are looking for work with customers/businesses who need workers and services. The platform allows users to discover, post, and book different types of jobs and services in their local area. We are looking for an experienced Android developer who can work with us on the Android application for both current development and long-term improvements. What We Need We need a developer who can: - Develop new features for the app Android app - Maintain and improve the existing application - Fix bugs and crashes - Improve app performance and stability - Integrate REST APIs - Integrate Firebase services - Implement push notifications - Work with user registration/login and OTP - Implement location-based features - Integrate Google Maps/location services where required - Implement job/service posting and booking functionality - Handle user profiles and related features - Work with payment-related integrations if required - Prepare the application for Google Play Store releases - Follow clean, maintainable and scalable coding practices - Work with Git/GitHub and proper version control Preferred Technical Skills - Kotlin - Android SDK - Jetpack / Jetpack Compose - Firebase - REST APIs - JSON - Authentication / OTP - Push Notifications / Firebase Cloud Messaging - Google Maps and Location Services - Git/GitHub - Play Store deployment - API and backend integration Experience with marketplace, job, service-booking, delivery, or similar apps is highly preferred. Important We are looking for someone who can understand the existing application application and codebase, not just create a basic demo application. The developer should be able to work with our team, understand requirements, suggest technical improvements, and develop features step by step.
