# Senior Figma Expert for E-commerce Landing Pages We are rolling out a new Shopify store and a large number of product landing pages for a fitness equipment e-commerce business. The product range includes racks, strength machines, dumbbells, benches, training accessories, activewear and other fitness products. Everything is designed in Figma, built from one central design system, and handed to developers as Figma files. We need a true Figma expert to take ownership of that stage. ## The pipeline and your place in it We will send you wireframes. Our marketing team creates black-and-white wireframes with the structure and copy. **Figma pages — this is you.** You build complete, high-fidelity, responsive Figma pages (desktop + mobile) inside our existing Figma design system, using real product images and videos, component states and clickable prototypes. Our in-house UX/UI designer owns the Figma design system and reviews every page. He will onboard you into the file, answer questions and provide feedback. After hiring, you will join a dedicated Slack channel with the team. ## Figma is the job This is not a "we use Figma" role. **Figma is the deliverable.** We are looking for someone who is highly experienced with: **Design system fluency** — working inside an existing library with components, variants, component properties, styles and variables. You know when to use an instance, when to nest components and when to propose a new component. **Auto Layout** — pages should resize correctly. No unnecessary absolute-positioned workarounds, broken fixed layouts or detached instances used to avoid proper structure. **Responsive thinking in Figma** — desktop and mobile frames should be intentionally designed from the same system, using appropriate constraints, components and responsive behavior. **Prototyping** — clickable prototypes for review, including hover/active states, sticky elements, scroll behavior and simple interactions where useful. **Developer-ready files** — clean layer naming, page and frame organization, consistent use of spacing and typography, and files that developers can inspect directly in Dev Mode. **Speed and consistency** — you can produce complete landing pages (desktop + mobile + prototype) at a predictable pace without quality dropping from page to page. **Asset handling** — placing real product images and videos with appropriate cropping, scale, aspect ratios and export settings. ## What you actually do * Turn wireframes into finished Figma pages, desktop and mobile * Use our existing components, styles and variables * Solve UX details that are not fully defined in the wireframe * Decide responsive behavior and mobile section order * Handle product image and video treatment * Design states, sticky elements and conversion flows * Build clickable prototypes so pages can be reviewed as a user would experience them * Flag where the design system is missing something and propose the appropriate addition rather than working around it Pages range from shorter product landing pages to long-form one-pagers containing hero sections, feature blocks, video, specifications, comparisons, reviews, FAQ and conversion-focused CTAs. Most pages follow recurring patterns, so once you understand the system, the work should become increasingly efficient. ## Who we are looking for We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer who is an expert in Figma and has strong e-commerce work. Ideally, you have: * Strong professional web design experience * Advanced Figma skills * E-commerce landing pages and product pages you can show * Experience working inside an existing Figma design system * Strong understanding of conversion-oriented layout * Excellent visual hierarchy * Strong image-to-text balance * Good CTA placement and mobile-first thinking * Sharp attention to spacing, alignment, cropping and typography * Good written English * Reliable and proactive communication in Slack Experience with Shopify is a plus. Experience with fitness equipment, sporting goods, outdoor products, consumer products or other product-heavy e-commerce businesses is also highly relevant. ## Not a fit This role is probably not a fit for: * Agencies or teams * Brand/logo/social-media designers * Illustrators * Motion designers * Developers who also do some design * Designers mainly working in Sketch, XD, Webflow or Canva * Designers whose portfolios are primarily dashboards or apps rather than e-commerce and marketing pages ## How we work We start with a paid test task: one landing page from wireframe to Figma, including desktop + mobile and a prototype where appropriate. We judge both the final visual result and the quality of the Figma file itself. If the quality, file organization and working speed are a good fit, there will be additional pages available. Work happens inside our Figma team file. You will not need access to the Shopify store.
