I am looking for an experienced embedded hardware and audio electronics engineer to replicate a custom automotive audio reverb/DSP module from scratch (0 to 100 delivery). The original circuit uses a Spin Semiconductor SPN1001-FV1 DSP, a Microchip MCP604 quad op-amp, and an external 8-pin EEPROM chip. I need a complete, end-to-end service: hardware reverse engineering, firmware dumping, PCB design, component sourcing, board assembly, and delivery of a fully functional prototype. Scope of Work & Deliverables: 1. EEPROM Firmware Extraction: Extract/dump the binary code from the 8-pin EEPROM chip on the provided reference board to preserve the custom reverb algorithm. 2. Schematic Capture & PCB Design: Recreate the schematic in EDA software (preferably KiCad or Altium) including the FV-1 DSP circuit, MCP604 audio conditioning, 12.288 MHz clock crystal, 3.3V power regulation, and 12V automotive power/ground noise filtering. Design a compact, production-ready surface-mount (SMD) PCB layout. 3. Component Sourcing & PCB Assembly: Source all genuine electronic components (FV-1, EEPROM, MCP604, passives, regulators, connectors). Manufacture and assemble (or order turnkey assembly via JLCPCB/PCBWay) at least 1–2 complete prototype boards. 4. Testing & Turnkey Delivery: Flash the dumped binary onto the new EEPROM. Perform audio testing (RCA input/output, signal integrity, power isolation) on a 12V supply. Ship the fully assembled and tested working prototype along with all design files (Schematics, PCB Gerbers, BOM, EEPROM .bin file).
