The string drop

I run “The String Drop,” a project where we hand out both electric and acoustic guitars purely to spark joy and foster a supportive player community—complete beginners right through to seasoned shredders. I already have the instruments lined up; what I need now is a well-structured, repeatable giveaway program that actually pulls people together rather than just sending out free gear. Here’s what I’d like your help with: • Map out the full giveaway flow—from opt-in mechanics, legal fine print, and anti-spam compliance to winner announcement—so everything runs smoothly and stays above board. • Shape an engaging narrative and visual style for each drop. Short-form video ideas, carousel posts, and striking stills are all welcome as long as they excite players of every skill level. • Build a simple landing page (or optimise my existing one) that captures entries, integrates with Mailchimp or similar for follow-up, and feeds data neatly into Google Sheets so I can keep track. • Draft evergreen email and DM templates I can reuse to nudge participants, announce winners, and invite them into our online spaces. • Provide a rollout calendar covering Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts—or suggest alternatives—showing exactly when and what to publish for maximum reach and conversation. Acceptance criteria 1. A documented campaign blueprint I can reuse each month. 2. Editable design assets (PSD, Canva, or similar) plus raw copy. 3. A basic analytics dashboard or clear instructions to set one up, so I can measure reach, sign-ups, and community engagement after every drop.
