I have an ongoing Marathi television comedy series that needs crisp, well-timed English subtitles. Because it’s a comedy, the punch-lines and cultural references have to land naturally, so I’m looking for a balance: part literal meaning, part culturally adapted phrasing that keeps the humour intact. You’ll receive the raw episode video files and any existing Marathi scripts I have. Your task is to translate the spoken dialogue, time-code it, and deliver a clean SRT (or compatible) file that can be dropped straight onto the edit timeline. Standard subtitling tools such as Aegisub or Subtitle Edit are fine—use whatever lets you guarantee frame-accurate sync and consistent line breaks. Acceptance criteria: • Translation reflects both the literal content and the cultural flavour of the jokes. • Timing is accurate to within ±0.5 sec of speech. • File passes a spell-check and reads smoothly when played back with the episode.
