Whimsical Watercolor Storybook Art

I have four completed children’s manuscripts waiting for illustrations that feel straight out of a whimsical vintage watercolor storybook. Each title carries a magical, wonder-filled tone and averages about ten spreads; I supply a detailed storyboard for every page so you can dive straight into character, setting, and composition rather than guesswork. What I need is the hand and eye of an experienced illustrator—traditional, digital, or a hybrid workflow is fine—so long as every image is genuinely crafted and not AI-generated. The colour palette will shift from title to title (sometimes pastel and soft, other times brighter or more earthy) and I’ll share guidance once we discuss the individual themes. Deliverables for each book: • Rough pencils or loose colour sketches for approval • Final full-resolution watercolor-style illustrations for each spread (minimum 300 dpi, CMYK) • Front-cover artwork with title placement left workable • Layered PSD/TIFF plus flattened print-ready files and a web-ready version of each image I value clear communication and see this as a long-term collaboration covering the current four books—and hopefully future projects too.
