I want to build a clean-sounding, reliable TDA2050 power-amplifier stage for a home audio setup that will accept a purely digital source (e.g., DAC board, streaming receiver) as its input. The job is to create the complete circuit from scratch—nothing to troubleshoot or modify—so all design choices are in your hands, provided they meet the following essentials: • Core device: single TDA2050 in class-AB configuration • Input: digital line-level signal coming from an external DAC (so any filtering or impedance matching you feel is appropriate should be included) • Output power: the typical 25–30 W into 4–8 Ω expected from the chip, with thermal protection and short-circuit safeguards fully implemented • Noise floor and THD figures suitable for hi-fi living-room listening Deliverables • Schematic ready for review (KiCad preferred, Gerbers acceptable if you layout in another package) • PCB layout files plus Gerbers and drill files, sized for easy home etching or low-volume fabrication • Annotated BOM with part numbers that can be sourced from Mouser or LCSC today • Brief notes on PSU requirements, heat-sinking calculations and any optional add-ons (mute, soft-start, speaker protection) Acceptance will be based on successfully opening the schematic and board files, a logical signal path from DAC to speaker terminals, and clear evidence that component values and thermal design match the TDA2050 data-sheet limits.
