Responsibilities

and Attributions

  • Assist in the monthly accounting close by providing information and support to the team
  • Maintain up-to-date accounting records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Reconcile asset and liability accounts and analyze income statement accounts based on reports from other areas, identifying and correcting inconsistencies
  • Analyze variances in balance sheets and income statements, investigating discrepancies and helping other departments understand results by explaining reports and detailed variances
  • Manage cash flow by monitoring fund inflows and outflows
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Control and schedule payments to suppliers, payroll, and other financial obligations
  • Track and forecast the company's financial position, identifying working capital needs
  • Negotiate with financial institutions to secure better terms for loans, financing, and rates
  • Issue and manage payment slips, invoices, and other financial documents
  • Invest available funds, seeking a balance between profitability and security
  • Monitor and report financial indicators such as liquidity, indebtedness, and margins.

Requisites and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
  • Active CRC (Accounting Council) registration (desirable)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in accounting and treasury
  • Experience with the TOTVS system is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting and tax standards and procedures
  • Advanced English proficiency.
