I am building a browser-based 3D educational RPG for my platform, Questlish. The game helps ESL students learn English through 3D exploration and UI-based puzzle mechanics. I have a complete, finalized Game Design & Technical Specification ready to go. I am looking for an experienced developer to build the Phase 1 Minimum Viable Product (MVP) quickly and efficiently. What You Will Build (MVP Scope):The Engine: A responsive React Three Fiber canvas optimized for mobile and desktop. The Environment: A simple "floating sky island" level with basic Rapier 3D physics (floor, a few crates). We are using a stylized, low-poly aesthetic to maintain high mobile frame rates. The Controller: A 3D character controller (WASD/Mouse for desktop, virtual joystick/touch for mobile). The Core Loop:A basic inventory system where the player collects 3D glowing "word" items. An interaction system (e.g., walking up to an NPC to trigger a 2D React UI overlay). A logic system that reads simple JSON data (provided by our CMS) to generate the UI puzzles (e.g., dragging and dropping collected words to build a sentence). Why You Want This Job:Zero Guesswork: I am not asking you to design the game. The mechanics, art direction, and exact JSON data structures are fully documented. No AI/Backend Integration Required: The game strictly reads JSON props passed down from the parent React site. You only have to build the frontend engine and mechanics. Future Work: If the MVP is successful, there will be ongoing contract work to expand the islands, add new puzzle types, and integrate 3D assets.
Please reply with a link to at least one web-based 3D project you have built using React Three Fiber / Three.js. Start your proposal with the word "Lexicon" so I know you read the details.
