Sobre a vaga

Long-Form to Short-Form Repurposing Turn one ~10-minute raw video into a polished YouTube upload plus 4–6 short-form clips (Reels/Shorts/TikTok), ready to post, on a recurring basis. Background I film one video per shoot (up to 10 minutes, single camera, talking-to-camera / demonstration style — [add: e.g. "headshot photography tips", "photography lighting tutorials", "men's health talk"]). I need a reliable editor who can turn that single raw file into a full set of platform-ready assets every time, so I can focus on filming and posting rather than editing. This is intended as an ongoing weekly/biweekly arrangement if the fit is right — not a one-off job. Please apply with that in mind and mention your capacity for repeat work. What you'll receive from me One raw video file (MP4/MOV), up to 10 minutes, single continuous take or lightly segmented Any supporting stills or before/after photo pairs I want featured (when relevant) A short brief per video: topic, key moment(s) I want as hooks, and anything I want cut What I need back, every time 1. One long-form YouTube edit Tightened cut of the full video (remove dead air, false starts, filler words) Clean intro (first 3–5 seconds must hook attention — see "Strong opening frames" below) Simple end card / outro 2. 4–6 Reels/Shorts cut from the same footage 15–60 seconds each, vertical 9:16, 1080x1920 Each one a self-contained moment (a tip, a punchline, a before/after reveal, a strong opinion) — not just an arbitrary slice of the long video Native-feel cuts and pacing for Reels/TikTok/Shorts, not just a cropped version of the horizontal edit 3. Captions/subtitles Burned-in captions on all short-form clips (styled, on-brand, easy to read on mobile with sound off) Clean subtitle file (SRT or VTT) delivered alongside the YouTube long-form edit 4. Before/after comparisons (where the footage includes them) Split-screen, slider, or side-by-side treatment to visually contrast before/after moments Should read clearly even paused on a single frame 5. Strong opening frames Every deliverable (long-form and each short) needs a first frame/first 2 seconds designed to stop the scroll — a compelling visual, bold on-screen text, or a hook line, not just a random freeze-frame from the middle of the video 6. Clean audio Noise reduction, level balancing, de-essing as needed Light background music bed on shorts where appropriate (royalty-free, ducked under speech) 7. Graphics Lower thirds / name-title cards where relevant Text overlay callouts for key points Simple branded intro/outro bumper (I can provide a logo/brand kit, or you can propose a clean template) 8. Lighting diagrams (when the content covers a lighting setup) Simple, clean diagram graphic (camera, subject, light positions, modifiers) overlaid or inserted where I'm explaining a lighting setup — doesn't need to be fancy, just clear and easy to follow at a glance Technical specs Deliverable Format Aspect ratio Notes YouTube long-form MP4, H.264, 1080p min 16:9 With SRT/VTT file Reels/Shorts (x4–6) MP4, H.264, 1080p min 9:16 Burned-in captions Delivery Shared drive link (Google Drive/Dropbox) or similar — Organized folder per video Skills / tools I'm looking for Strong hands-on editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut (your choice — I care about the output, not the tool) Comfortable generating and styling captions (auto-transcription + manual clean-up) An eye for short-form hooks and pacing — please include 1–2 examples of before/after or talking-head content you've cut into shorts, ideally with a link to how the shorts performed if you have that data Basic motion graphics / text overlay skills Bonus: experience with photography, fitness, or coaching content (visual explainer / diagram work) Turnaround & workflow Target turnaround: [add: e.g. "3–5 business days from raw file delivery"] One round of revisions included per video I'll send footage and a short brief via [Drive/Dropbox/WeTransfer — add your preference] Budget [Add your rate/budget range here — e.g. " Xpervideopackage(1long−form+4–6shorts)"or"X/hour"]. Open to a fixed per-video package rate for ongoing work once we've found a good fit.

How to apply

Please include: 2–3 examples of similar before/after or talking-head → short-form edits (links preferred) Your typical turnaround time for a package like this Your rate for a package (1 long-form YouTube edit + 4–6 shorts) vs. hourly Confirmation you're available for ongoing weekly/biweekly work Optional: I'm happy to pay for a small paid test edit (one short clip) before committing to the full ongoing arrangement, if that's useful for both of us to confirm fit.
