Elegant Book Shopify Storefront

I want to take my current catalogue of 11-50 book-related products and launch them on a brand-new Shopify storefront, built completely from scratch and polished enough to go live without further tweaks. Theme & visual direction The store must feel professional and elegant—clean typography, balanced white space, tasteful colour accents, and imagery that keeps the spotlight on the book and its companion merchandise. Key features to implement • Customer reviews section so readers can share feedback and boost social proof. • Newsletter signup that connects smoothly to my email service (Mailchimp or Klaviyo), capturing first name and email at minimum and storing them in the list I specify. Core scope – Select or recommend a theme that matches the style above, then customise it so the branding, colours, and layout are cohesive. – Import and configure every product now sold on my current site (between 11 and 50 SKUs), including titles, descriptions, prices, variants, images, and existing metadata. – Set up collections, navigation, search, and filters so shoppers can find items quickly. – Configure payment gateways, shipping rates, taxes, and standard legal pages. – Optimise for desktop and mobile, checking load speed and accessibility. – Add essential apps or native Shopify modules for reviews and newsletter capture, and style them to blend seamlessly. – Basic on-page SEO: clean URLs, meta titles, structured headings, alt text, and a readable sitemap. – Hand-off session (recorded or live) walking me through product updates, order processing, and theme tweaks. Acceptance criteria 1. Store passes Shopify’s pre-launch checklist with no errors or warning flags. 2. All products display correctly and can be purchased end-to-end in test mode. 3. Review widget and newsletter form are live, styled consistently, and submit data to the correct destinations. 4. Mobile and desktop Lighthouse scores remain above 80 for performance and accessibility. Deliverables 1. Fully configured Shopify store, transferred to my account. 2. Theme file and any custom code snippets. 3. Documentation (or video) covering how to manage products, fulfil orders, and update content. The sooner we can get the first draft live in a password-protected staging mode, the faster I can supply copy and imagery adjustments, so please include an estimated timeline for theme selection, product migration, and final QA.
