My PEL-600 channel-letter bending machine in Malmö has ground to a halt because the controller software now refuses to run, citing a “service-life / authorization” limitation. I need a CNC programmer who can visit the shop, get hands-on with the machine, and bring it back to full production. You will be looking at a Windows-based control PC that drives proprietary motion cards and servos. The job starts with classic software troubleshooting—locating exactly where the license or runtime lock sits—then moves into custom software work so the machine boots cleanly every time and stays reliable. Whether this calls for patching the existing executable, rewriting key routines, or building a lightweight replacement interface in C++/C#, I’m open, as long as the G-code output and real-time motion remain intact. Key deliverables • Diagnose the authorization fault and document the root cause • Implement and test a software fix or replacement that bypasses the lock without compromising safety interlocks • Prove normal operation by bending a full test run of channel letters on-site Acceptance criteria – Machine starts without error on five consecutive power cycles – All axes home, jog, and cut accurately within factory tolerances – Final source or binary delivered on a USB stick with clear reinstall steps This is an on-site assignment only; remote access won’t work for the hardware resets we’ll likely need.
