I need a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) to complete a Form 12 structural inspection of my freestanding aluminium pergola. The structure stands independent from the house and is entirely metal, with no additional roof coverings, built-in seating or lighting installed yet. Your task is to visit the site, verify that the pergola complies with the relevant sections of the Queensland Building Act and current Australian Standards (such as AS/NZS 1170 and AS 4100 for steelwork), then issue the signed and stamped Form 12 needed by my certifier. If any minor rectifications are required, please outline them so they can be resolved before final sign-off.
