US$ 120 – US$ 150 por projeto
We have a software product called **Lumen** and an existing logo we like conceptually but that needs a sharper, more intentional execution. You'll redesign it into a modern, clean, dark-mode-first identity and deliver a complete file package. **Attached files — look at both before bidding:** - `Screenshot 2026-09-03 at 6.26.21 PM.png` — the current Lumen logo - `Screenshot 2026-09-03 at 6.29.39 PM.png` — the color reference for the new palette Treat the color reference as the target mood, not a literal swatch list — sample from it and build a coherent ramp. ## The direction: "Obsidian Ember" Mineral, dark-mode interface. A graphite-black base. **Amethyst / violet is the primary energy color.** At the hottest points of the mark, the violet transitions into **ember orange** — as if dark stone is cracking open to reveal heat inside. Orange is not a second accent color; it is the high-temperature end of the violet ramp. Bold, vibrant, and made to pop against a dark UI. Modern and reductive, not maximalist. Fewer, better decisions. ## What to deliver - Full lockup (mark + wordmark) **and** a standalone mark - The mark must stay readable at **16x16 px** as a favicon - **SVG, PDF, PNG (1024px), JPG** — plus versions on dark, on white, and transparent - **Full-color, single-color (pure black and pure white), and reversed** variants - Favicon exports at 16, 32, 512 px - A one-page **reference sheet** with HEX, RGB and CMYK for every color and gradient stop - Layered source file (AI, Figma, or SVG master), text outlined in exports - A short **150-300 word rationale** covering your mark, typography and palette choices ## Where you have freedom Mark geometry, gradient behaviour, and typography are yours. Refine or redraw the letterforms and icon proportions if the current ones don't hold up. Name any font you use so we can license it. Feel free to check in once mid-process with a direction before final polish — we're available for quick feedback. ## How you'll be judged Does the mark survive at 16px? Does it look genuinely premium on a dark background? Is the violet-to-ember transition handled with restraint rather than sprayed everywhere? Are the files clean and correctly built? --- **Hiring:** up to 3 freelancers for this listing, each delivering 1 unit. **Turnaround:** 96 hours from award. **Payment:** fixed $150 per freelancer, one milestone, released when the work is approved. **Please answer in your bid:** 1. Link two logos you personally designed for software or tech products. For one of them, show the mark at 16px or 32px so we can see how it holds up small. 2. Show us a project where you used gradients or a limited palette on a dark background. What did you do to keep it from muddying? 3. Which tool will you build the master file in, and will the wordmark be a licensed typeface (name it) or custom-drawn letterforms?
